Role Description

We are looking to recruit an exceptional Lead Robotics Technician to assemble electrical and mechanical components, manage parts inventory, and troubleshoot system integration issues.

In this role you will:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly for robotic components, ensuring that each component meets the quality and performance standards.
  • Conduct system-level testing and troubleshooting, addressing any issues that arise during assembly.
  • Track and manage inventory of parts and components, ensuring accuracy and availability for upcoming projects.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to anticipate parts requirements, place orders, and track order status to ensure continuous production flow.
  • Develop and refine assembly documentation and processes to support scalability and quality control.
  • Lead the recruitment and expansion of the technician team for Maven Robotics.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure seamless integration across project stages.

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technician role, specializing in electrical or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
  • Strong hands-on skills in wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly of robotic or electromechanical systems.
  • Experience in inventory management, with the ability to accurately track and maintain records.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Lab/shop management experience including EHS and safety best-practices.
  • Basic machine shop proficiency, including manual mill and lathe operation.
  • High level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.

Nice-to-have:

  • Associate’s or higher-level degree in Engineering Technology, Robotics, Automotive, Aerospace, or related field.
  • CAD design proficiency.
  • Experience programming and operating CNC machine tools.
  • Experience with assembly documentation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with robotics or automation technologies.
